Launching on a free subdomain is perfect for day one. When you are ready to look like an established business, connect your own domain — it only takes a few minutes.

Buy your domain

Register a short, memorable domain from any registrar. A .com or .com.ng works well for a Nigerian VTU brand.

Point the DNS to your site

In your admin, open the publish settings and you will see the exact A record to create. Add it in your registrar’s DNS panel for both the root and the www name.

Click Connect

Back in your admin, enter the domain and click Connect. A free SSL certificate is issued automatically so your site loads on secure HTTPS.

Allow time to propagate

DNS changes can take a few minutes to a few hours. Once live, your site answers on your own brand — no subdomain in sight.
